Raj qualified from Cardiff Dental University in 2010. He completed his vocational training at Poynter’s Road Dental in Luton. In 2011 he became an associate dentist at Chingford Mount Dental Practice where he carried a combination of NHS and private cosmetic dental work including advanced crown and bridgework. During his time at Chingford Dental he also regularly visited 6 local care homes carrying out domiciliary dental care for their residents.

Raj joined Lister House Dental Centre, Essex, in 2011 and became joint principal dentist in 2012. In 2015 Raj and his brother Neal became owners of Sarum Dental Practice. The practice underwent a significant refurbishment in 2017 and now has 4 surgeries and an established team of highly skilled dentists, a hygienist and an implant oral surgeon.

Raj has continued to develop his scope for advanced dental procedures including short-term orthodontic treatment and facial aesthetics. His main interests outside of clinical practice are art, photography, travelling and keeping fit.

- A member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery in Edinburgh, 2014.

- Postgraduate certification in Dental Education

- Certification in and provider of several orthodontic systems: Invisalign Full, 6 Month Smiles, CFast, Inman Aligner, Fast braces.

- Certification in implants placement and restoration with Osstem.

- Certification in restoration of Astra Tech/ Straumann implants.

- Advanced and basic certification in delivery of Botox type A

- Certification in advanced bonding: anterior and posterior direct restorations

Neal qualified from Cardiff Dental University with an Honours degree. He has a keen interest in oral surgery and minimally invasive restorative dentistry. He also enjoys using the latest techniques and materials.

Within two years Neal gained two extra qualifications. One was a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education and another in Dental Law and Ethics. He has also attended courses and gained certifications in Invisalign (teeth straightening), advanced and basic certification in delivery of Botox type A Botox and rotary endodontics. Most recently he has been chosen to be an Educational Supervisor (trainer) for newly qualified graduates.

He thoroughly enjoys charitable work and most recently had the opportunity to visit the rural communities outside the capital of Ghana, Accra with Global Brigades. He describes this a truly humbling experience in which work was carried out for locals who did not have the opportunity or means to visit a dentist to eradicate their pain. He plans on carrying out more charity work in the future.

Neal also enjoys playing golf and squash in his spare time.

Neha qualified from Bristol Dental University and soon after began her foundation training year at Sarum Dental Practice where she has continued to work since.

She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a keen interest in cosmetic and paediatric dentistry. She aims to treat all patients in a calm and confident manner, especially nervous and first time patients. Neha hopes to gain formal training in orthodontics (teeth straightening) in the near future.

She has a naturally attentive and sympathetic personality which enables her to understand her patients’ needs and tailor their treatment to suit individual requirements. Neha’s engaging and friendly nature can make the most nervous of patients feel at ease. Outside of dentistry she enjoys socialising and travelling.

Arjun qualified with an honours degree from Bristol Dental School before becoming an associate at Sunningdale Dental Practice in Ascot, where he still practices alongside his role at Sarum.

He particularly enjoys restorative dentistry as well as root canal treatment, previously winning awards in both domains. He also offers aesthetic and orthodontic treatments using the Invisalign clear aligner system.

As well as being committed to regular learning to improve his skills and knowledge, Arjun aims to develop his passion for teaching by gaining formal qualifications in the future.

Aside from life as a dentist, Arjun is keen sportsperson, loving football, running and swimming. He also enjoys playing the piano and travelling.
